This major renovation converted a house in Toronto's Bloordale Village into a single family residence while improving the structure, systems, insulation and envelope. Closed-cell foam sprayed between existing studs and rafters has made the house air tight and radically improved insulation levels. A high-efficiency boiler, new compact radiators and wood-burning stove keep the home warm and cosy. The open concept ground floor with light on three sides is a great family space.
