Lilia's role as Architectural Technologist is to produce, check and coordinate construction document packages for many of Solares' projects. She works closely with each project manager to bring the projects to build-ready status.
During her time in Ryerson University's Bachelor of Architectural Science program, Lilia was given the 2010 Jonas Spencer-Sales award for academic excellence in the area of environment and sustainability. Her fourth-year thesis, which focused on creating a set of standards that would bring LEED up to the Living Building Challenge, was shown at the Euroregional Conference for Sustainable Building in Maastricht, Netherlands.
Lilia also plays the flute, and she does origami, and she takes care of two cats, probably not at the same time.
